When you upload a file, your encryption key is generated locally, directly in your browser. This key is never transmitted to our servers. The file is then encrypted locally in your browser before any data is transmitted. Our servers therefore only receive the encrypted version of your file.

Our servers only receive encrypted data. Your file name is also never transmitted to our servers. It is changed on the browser side to a random 256-bit ID, with a .bin extension, regardless of the file type. Our servers only store encrypted data, without exception.

When retrieving the file, the encrypted file is sent raw to the browser, where it is decrypted locally, exclusively on the browser side. The file stored on the server is immediately destroyed after it is retrieved.
